The Pacific Northwest Seminar on Topology, Algebra, and Geometry in Data Science

This (hybrid) seminar, based in the University of Washington Department of Mathematics, brings a diverse range of speakers with the goal of being:

1. A venue to showcase research being done at the intersection of mathematics and data science with a focus on methods from algebra, geometry, topology, and combinatorics.

2. A modality with which to make mathematicians aware of specific problems in data science to which they might contribute.

3. A tool to facilitate collaborations between mathematicians (particularly graduate students) and researchers from other domains.
